Why A2

What Makes A2 Ghee
Different

A2 ghee comes from cows that produce only the A2 beta-casein protein in their milk — unlike commercial breeds that produce A1 protein, which many people find hard to digest.

Indigenous Indian breeds like Gir, Sahiwal, and Tharparkar are naturally A2 cows. Their milk — and the ghee made from it — is closer to what the Ayurvedic tradition has celebrated for millennia.

Combined with the bilona method, our ghee retains butyric acid, fat-soluble vitamins, and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) that industrial processing destroys.
